Congratulations, how does it feel to be the 2017 Rogue's Gallery Champion?
It's a little embarrassing but at least I came away winning something this year, unfortunately it wasn't the trophy I imagined winning.
What made you choose your regional championship venue?
I was busy at work the day the courses came out and missed everything that was local to me. I ended up choosing Preston Golf Club which is a nice 4 hour drive from Bristol.
Tell us about your experience on the day. How did you feel you played?
I played well on the front nine scoring 16 points but the back nine was a complete disaster, topped off with my shots in the rough on the 17th hole which got me on Rogue's Gallery.
How did you cope with the cameras on the day?
To be honest I didn't even notice them until I hit one on the 17th hole.
Where is the trophy now?
At home in my office.
Describe yourself in a sentence...
A family man with good friends prone to being clumsy and a bit nuts!
Any last words for William Hunt and the Trilby Tour Team?
See you next year, hopefully being presented with a Championship trophy and not the Rogue's Gallery trophy.
